City Tavern Preservation Foundation invites you to join us for a celebration of the 25th anniversary of Breena Clarke’s beloved novel River, Cross My Heart, an Oprah book club selection. Her debut novel depicts the life of an African American family and the Georgetown community in the early 20th century.
